A future-ready upgrade for McDonald's Rotterdam Spaanse Polder
As the restaurant had outgrown its space, we completely redesigned and expanded the kitchen, going from two to four lines. This upgrade allows McDonald’s to serve all the delicious food even faster.
The restaurant now features a fresh new lobby designed in the Ray concept, renovated crew areas, a modernized kitchen — and even the restrooms are fully future-proof. Sustainability was a key focus throughout the project. We used circular materials, including recycled floor tiles, wall panels, and ceilings. In addition, waterless urinals and smart hand dryers help reduce both water and energy consumption.
Technical improvements were also part of the project, including the installation of a new HVAC system and a new main distribution board.
